Cognitive brain function assessment
At Core Naturopathics we have always sort to provide the highest possible clinical standards and that can often take time to develop. Traditionally, as part of our Holistic Health Assessment we have be able to effectively measure the essential components to maintain good health. As most will know a truly holistic approach is “body, mind and spirit” or I think that “body, brain and mind” might be more (clinically) applicable. We have (however) had limited scope in effectively addressing the health of the brain – until now…
Core Naturopathics has teamed up with the world leader in cognitive assessment – Cambridge Brain Science. The ability to utilise the most advanced measurement in cognitive health bolsters our definition of ‘holistic’ by allowing for a measurement of cognitive capacity.
Cognition is the ability to clearly think, learn and remember. Functions such as motor skills, emotional responses and sensory responses indicate resilience to neuropathological damage. Genetic, environmental and lifestyle factors are all thought to influence cognition and health. This simply means that the most effective way to maintain healthy cognition is to improve lifestyle factors. These factors include:
- Physical activity
- Openness to Experience
- Curiosity and Creativity
- Social Connections
- Mindfulness Meditation
- Brain-training Games
- Get Enough Sleep
- Reduce Chronic Stress
You are now able to take this assessment on-line as a one off test or purchase multiples as part of an ongoing health strategy.
We are also including this on-line cognition test as a standard part of our Holistic Health Assessment (HHA). This will represent an amazing companion in a more holistic understanding of your health. The assessment (within our HHA) will not add any additional charges to the current pricing.
You can also access the assessment for a limited time at around half the price or experience a single panel for free. We are only creating fifty tests at this price and only available to current clients.
